Prior to joining ACON he was a Vice President with the Blackstone Group, a private New York based investment bank where he was responsible for the firm’s investment and advisory activities in Latin America. Prior to that, Mr. Knoell was an Associate with S.G. Warburg and then GBS Finanzas in Madrid where he advised several European corporations with respect to domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Knoell received a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Tropigas, Fybeca and SAE Towers.
